Recognise the early warning signs for heart attack
Common warning signs include uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the centre of the chest, lasting more than a few minutes. Pain sometimes spreads to the shoulders, neck, arms or sometimes the teeth. Less common warning signs include atypical chest pain, stomach or abdominal pain, nausea or dizziness, shortness of breath or difficulty of breathing. Not all these signs occur in every attack – if you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, seek medical advice immediately.
