Victor Chang Bay Soiree 2016

The Bay Soiree2016

We are delighted to inform you that The Bay Soiree was a brilliant success!

1 April 2016

With your overwhelmingly generous support, we raised just over $50,000 for the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. These vital funds will help our dedicated scientists discover cures for heart disease, which claims the life of one Australian every 12 minutes.

Victor Chang Bay Soiree 2016

Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel hosted a stunning evening under the stars. From the complimentary Havaianas, to the bespoke menu designed by Executive Chef, John Pye, and the delicious wines supplied by Robert Oatley Wines and Aura Rose - it was certainly a night to remember.

Our sincere thanks also goes to our incomparable host, Todd McKenney, who was integral to the success of the evening.

And few could forget the moving interview with young heart transplant patient, Joel Seeto. Thank you, Joel, for giving us a rare insight into your raw experience with heart disease.

As the sun set over the harbour, Jake Meadows and Dax Golding entertained the crowd with beautiful acoustic music, while guests enjoyed sipping on Piper Heidsieck Champagne and Aperol Spritz cocktails.

Finally, the night would not have been possible without our incredible committee members, volunteers and of course our sponsors!

On behalf of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, thank you for your overwhelming support.
