The annual Women Against Heart Disease Lunch was a wonderful success and all thanks to you!

A special mention to Jaynie Seal who was our amazing MC, Sister Anthea Groves and to our Executive Director Professor Jason Kovacic who stressed the urgency for more research and funds into women’s heart disease.
For the first time ever we sold out of raffle tickets! This is a testament to our incredible event sponsors who donated such high-quality prizes. To Cockatoo Grove, Park Hyatt Sydney, Carla Zampatti, Hair Angel, Bidinis, Catalina, Gunners Barracks and Belvoir St Theatre - our immense gratitude, we honestly couldn’t do this event without you.
Most importantly, the Women Against Heart Disease fundraising event was much more than just a lunch, it’s a chance to save lives.
Every guest was encouraged to have their heart health checked by our team of on-site specialists. Everyone was asked to help spread the word that heart disease is the biggest killer of Australian women, and the symptoms we can all look out for. Together we have the power to protect the hearts of women everywhere.
