The Heart Health Check is a mobile, fully portable service where we bring along a team of nurses to perform heart health checks in your community, organisation or workplace. In less than ten minutes, our trained specialists measure a person’s blood pressure, total cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
The testing service is operated by trained professional staff who can conduct up to 100 individual health checks per day. Tests are conducted by a nurse in a private, branded and fully-equipped set up. Our nurses use fast, reliable, and use non-invasive testing equipment. Results, along with information on modifiable risk factors and healthy heart habits are available immediately for each person to take away with them.
There are two ways your organisation can support the Heart Health Check and bring our services to your community. Choose between:
The Victor Chang Heart Health Check provides a fee-for-service heart health check for organisations across Australia. We bring the testing to you, allowing you the opportunity to demonstrate that you care about your employees, clients, or your local community by providing heart health checks.
We have worked with Commonwealth Bank, HCF, Panthers, and more to improve heart health.
The Victor Chang Heart Health Check also partners with other not-for-profit organisations, foundations, or trusts which allows us to provide free heart health checks in communities across Australia.
We currently partner with IMB Bank Community Foundation and Heartbeat of Football who are helping us take the mobile Heart Health Check to different locations across the country.
The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Gadigal of the Eora nation, on which we meet, work, and discover.
Our Western Australian laboratories pay their respect to the Whadjuk Noongar who remain as the spiritual and cultural custodians of their land.
