What Heart Health Check services can you book?

The Victor Chang Heart Health Check offers a comprehensive range of health checks that can be individually tailored to suit your needs and budget.

We offer three key services - the Express Health Check, Assessment Health Check, and Lifestyle Health Check. You can also tailor your own package with a combination of services from either the Express, Assessment, or Lifestyle Health Check.

Service Option 1: Express Heart Health Check

Assesses the three most easily identifiable risk factors for heart disease in less than 10 minutes including:

• blood pressure
• blood sugar
• total cholesterol

Service Option 2: Assessment Health Check

A 20-minute assessment of an individual’s heart health examining:

• blood pressure
• blood sugar
• total cholesterol
• HDL ‘good’, LDL ‘bad’ cholesterol and Triglycerides
• BMI (Body Mass Index) including height and weight
• body fat percentage
• skeletal muscle percentage
• visceral fat level
• resting metabolism

Service Option 3: Lifestyle Health Check

A comprehensive 30-minute assessment of an individual’s heart health examining:

• blood pressure
• blood sugar
• total cholesterol
• HDL ‘good’, LDL ‘bad’ cholesterol and Triglycerides
• BMI (Body Mass Index) including height and weight
• body fat percentage
• skeletal muscle percentage
• visceral fat level
• resting metabolism
• heart rate
• atrial fibrillation risk (through an ECG test) including a detailed report emailed to you
• cardiovascular disease Absolute Risk Score

All Victor Chang Heart Health Check service bookings include:

1. Identifiable three risk factors test – blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol
2. Access to an online booking system with a digital participant health form for your employees/clients that takes one minute to complete prior to the Heart Health Check
3. A heart health check results form for each participant
4. An individual five-minute follow-up with a Heart Health Check Specialist to help explain the meaning of each participant’s results and also provide relevant information regarding heart health and healthy lifestyle tips.
5. An email report containing a summary of the testing day(s) with de-identified results from that event, 48 hours after testing has been completed.

Costs are dependent on the number of people we test and how many Heart Health Check Specialists are required. The maximum number of tests performed per hour for our popular Express Heart Health Check are:
