Supporters who help keep the Heart Health Check free for Australians
The Victor Chang Heart Health Check mobile service is made freely available across Australia with thanks to our official supporters and sponsors, IMB Bank Community Foundation and Heartbeat of Football.
IMB Bank Community Foundation
The IMB Bank Community Foundation was established in 1999 to provide financial support to the communities around them, and in particular to people and community groups working to build and strengthen their communities.
Since its inception, the IMB Bank Community Foundation has supported more than 800 not-for-profit and community projects and donated over $11million.
The IMB Bank Community Foundation has supported the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute Heart Health Check Service for nine years, providing over $405,000 in grants to keep our Heart Health Check Specialists on the road, including funding for the Heart Health Check Tour.
The IMB Bank Community Foundation supports people and communities in the places IMB calls home - Sydney, the Illawarra, Hunter, South Coast, Southern Highlands, Melbourne and the ACT. It is focused on building strong, resilient, and forward-focused communities - which is at the heart of IMB Bank’s core philosophy.

Heartbeat of Football
Heartbeat of Football is a not-for-profit organisation that was
established in early 2016 by media personality and football enthusiast
Andy Paschalidis.
This was a direct result of witnessing his Forest
Rangers FC teammate Matt Richardson die from a heart attack playing over
35’s football and two days later his good friend, Peter Katholos
(ex-NSL and Socceroos player) witnessed his Belmore Hercules teammate
die the same way.
Heartbeat of Football promotes healthy hearts in sport via awareness, action, and prevention. This involves engaging players in community education programs and advocating for having defibrillators at all sporting fields around the country. Their prevention pillar involves partnering with our Victor Chang Heart Health Check to provide heart health checks across Australian football fields.
