Thanks to amazing people like you, the 2019 The Bay Soiree was an outstanding success raising a record $140,000

The funds raised will make a vital contribution to funding the research our scientists do at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. In particular, the funds will ensure that the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute continues to attract the very best young scientific talent to our PHD program so that we may train the future leaders in heart research in Australia and globally.

The success of our fundraising is fundamentally due to the generosity of our supporters like you and that of our generous sponsors and donors. In particular, our heartfelt thanks go to Fraser Short and the team at The Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, without whom this spectacular event would not be possible. Our guests enjoyed the most beautiful food, with the very best Piper-Heidsieck Champagne, Grey Goose Vodka cocktails and outstanding Penfolds wines whilst watching an unforgettable sunset in one of Sydney’s most stunning locations.
