Dr Lee Nedkoff

Dr Lee Nedkoff is based in the School of Population and Global Health at The University of Western Australia and joined the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute in 2022. Dr Nedkoff is the Head of the Cardiology Population Health Laboratory.

Following a clinical career as a physiotherapist, she decided to pursue a career in cardiovascular disease (CVD) epidemiology after completing a Masters dissertation on trends in acute coronary syndromes.

Dr Nedkoff is an expert in the use of linked health data for monitoring CVD at a population level. She is currently working on projects to determine the prevalence of stable coronary disease in the population, and is investigating the reasons for increasing rates of heart attacks in young adult women in Australia.
