The Bay Soiree 2020

The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute are pleased to announce The Bay Soiree 2020 was a great success and we have our supporters to thank

Their smiling faces and open hearts completed the stunning scene set up by the team at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel. With overwhelming generosity and support, we raised much-needed funds for the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute.

These vital funds will help our dedicated scientists discover ways to prevent heart attacks, which claim the lives of 21 Australians every day. These funds can also lead to potential cures for congenital heart disease, the most common form of birth defect around the world. These funds will also ensure that the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute continues to attract the very best young scientific talent to its PHD program so that we may train the future leaders in heart research in Australia and globally.

Thank you to the amazing team at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel for their support, and for hosting such a fun-filled evening. Thank you to Luke Zancanaro Trio and Alex Preston for providing the perfect backdrop and party tunes for the event.

Special mention goes out to our fabulous MC Alex Hart, and to our guest speakers Karen and Colin, who reminded us of how easily heart disease can impact our lives.
