SCADaddles for Research

SCADaddle: 5km walk to help beat SCAD heart attacks!

Thank you to all the fundraisers in 2022 who took part and helped raise over $30,000 towards SCAD research!

The SCADaddle challenges you to walk, skip or run 5km in your local area with friends, family and supporters and help us raise much needed funds for Medical Research into SCAD Heart Attacks. You can also take part in organised walks in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Perth and Brisbane if you’d prefer.

Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a leading cause of heart attacks in seemingly healthy, fit adults and is responsible for a quarter of all heart attacks in women under 50 and the number one cause in new mums.

2022 Scadaddle

- This event has now finished. Keep an eye out on Facebook for details for the 2023 Scadaddle -

Simply register online and walk 5kms on Sunday October 30 to raise awareness and much needed research funds for SCAD - a disease responsible for about 25% of heart attacks in women under the age of 50.
