Biomedical Data Science Facility
The Innovation Centre Biomedical Data Science Facility provides support for researchers from the generation, interpretation, and analysis of biological data sets through to the development of automated analysis pipelines.
Biology and medical sciences are progressively becoming data intensive through the complexity and size of data sets from both genomic analysis and high throughput instrumentation like those found within the Innovation Centre. These now require the development of automated pipelines and software, to extract the data researchers require to solve complex biological problems.

Acknowledgement of Country
The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Gadigal of the Eora nation, on which we meet, work, and discover.
Our Western Australian laboratories pay their respect to the Whadjuk Noongar who remain as the ongoing spiritual and cultural custodians of their land.
